Sweet Dream Cakery, LLC is a family-owned and operated private bakery located in northern Colorado. Specializing in custom cakes and cupcakes for all occasions and events. We offer a variety of options to fit any celebration and budget.

We know being apart during special occasions and birthdays is tough! At Sweet Dream Cakery, we strive to help bridge that gap by providing free delivery to CSU and UNC.

We deliver all over northern Colorado, and even further when necessary! Check out our delivery map to see our Free Delivery Zone. (Outside that area? Small mileage fee will apply.)

There is no deposit, no commitment! Simply choose your date(s), provide the requested information, and we will contact you to finalize and confirm all the details. Due to the high volume of orders and reservations we receive, we do prefer a 7-day lead time, however we know that may not always be possible, so please email or text us if you need your order sooner, or if your requested date shows as unavailable on the Reservation Calendar. We will do our best to fit you into the schedule when and if possible! Feel free to use the Calendar to enter all your special dates (birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, Valentine's Day, etc.), and we will follow up when it gets closer to those dates to see what you'd like to order, and if you end up not needing your order, just let us know so we can remove your reservation - no fees to reserve or cancel! Never miss a special date again - we will remind you!

how much advance notice is needed for orders?

Due to the high volume of orders, we do PREFER a 7-day lead time. We cannot always guarantee orders with less lead time, but please don't hesitate to ask, as we will do what we can! Wedding orders should be placed a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks out, especially if it will be a large order. Please be aware that it is always best to reserve your wedding order as soon as possible, as we tend to book quickly during popular wedding months (i.e.: June, September). May is also a very busy month with graduation orders, so be sure to reserve those as soon as possible. Reserved dates will be followed up on for confirmation, and payment is required by the date listed on the invoice, or your order will be cancelled.

What are your delivery fees?

We offer a large Free Delivery Zone (see map), and for orders outside that area it is charged by the mile, with a minimum of $5.00. Feel free to text or email us the delivery address, and we can let you know the delivery charge, if any. We can also meet you within the Free Delivery Zone for pick-up, as well!

Where do I pick up my order?

We operate in a private kitchen, so currently we offer delivery, or we can meet you for "pick-up" (ie: a coffee shop in your area, a shopping center, etc.). We are working towards opening a public-facing location, as soon as we can!

Refund/cancellation policies

Please note that your invoice contains the date by which your final balance is due. Rush orders are due the day the order is placed. If final payment is not made by your payment due date, your order will be canceled. Please note, we will make efforts to contact you prior to cancellation, so be sure to check your voicemails/emails.

All payments that are made are non-refundable. We make everything to order, and cannot resell your order, should you no longer need it.

If there is an issue with your order after receiving it, please contact us immediately. Depending on the issue, we may either replace the product for you if possible or issue a partial refund. If the issue is due to something out of our control (ie: the cake was damaged in transport by a person other than Sweet Dream Cakery employees), there will be no refund. We strive to provide 5-star service, so please let us know how we can create a better experience, and we will make it right!

can you accomodate dietary restrictions?

Currently, we only have a couple gluten-free cake flavors on our main menu of flavor options. Feel free to let us know what the restrictions are, and we will work to create something that works for you and your guests. Please note, these flavors will have an up-charge in pricing, due to the cost of the special ingredients needed for them. We also ask that you provide us with a 2-week lead time on these orders, so that we can develop a recipe that will work great!

can each layer or tier be a different flavor?

Each tier may be it's own cake and filling flavor. Single tiers cannot be mixed and matched at this time.

Can i order a single cupcake?

As of right now, we do not offer individual cupcakes.

can any frosting have fondant over it?

Fondant will not adhere to whipped frostings. If your cake design calls for fondant, we will use either vanilla or chocolate buttercream.
